HD radio tuner add-on for the PXAMG interface (PXAMG required)
Product Description
Expand your factory radio with PXAMG and a direct control HD Radio tuner. The HDRT receives analog and digital radio stations and gives you control through the factory radio, while retaining all the functionality of the factory installed Sirius Satellite Radio tuner. The HD Radio tuner will provide clearer sound on AM and FM as well as access to simulcast HD Radio stations that are not available through a standard radio tuner. Simulcast HD Radio stations are purely digital for optimum audio quality, and often offer an alternative audio selection.
The PXAMG and vehicle specific harness is required. (Required Vehicle Specific Harness Included with Online PXAMG purchase. )
Vehicle Compatibility Notes
- Must be used in conjunction with PXAMG.
- When adding the HDRT to a vehicle with rear seat entertainment equipped with dual sourcing, an additional antenna splitter will be required (Best Kits BAAY2M or equivalent) to retain function of the rear seat AM/FM.
